Die Polizei hat nahe einer Landstraße in Rheinland-Pfalz ein Waffen- und Munitionslager gefunden. Wem die Waffen gehörten, war zunächst unklar, wie die Beamten in Ludwigshafen am Dienstag mitteilten. Demnach wurden sie am Montag nahe einem Parkplatz an einer Landstraße in Speyer gefunden. Es handelte sich um mehrere Langwaffen, Schrotflinten, Jagdgewehre und mehrere Kurzwaffen.
Zudem entdeckten die Ermittler auf der Grünfläche am Parkplatz eine Maschinenpistole, eine Signalpistole und mehrere tausend Stück Munition für verschiedene Waffen. Woher sie stammten und wie sie dort hin gelangten, war unklar.
