La agencia de ciberseguridad de la Unión Europea obtuvo acceso a Mythos 5, el modelo de inteligencia artificial más potente de Anthropic, tras varios meses de conversaciones entre el bloque y la empresa estadounidense, anunció Bruselas este jueves.
La UE llevaba negociando desde junio el uso de ese modelo, que genera enormes temores en materia de seguridad cibernética y cuya difusión inicialmente se había reservado casi exclusivamente a organismos estadounidenses.
"Tras nuestra colaboración constructiva con Anthropic, podemos confirmar que la Agencia Europea de Ciberseguridad (Enisa) obtuvo acceso a Mythos 5 y actualmente lo está probando", precisó ante la prensa Thomas Regnier, portavoz de la Comisión Europea para Asuntos Digitales.
La entidad ya había obtenido acceso a los modelos más avanzados de OpenAI, entre ellos el reciente GPT-6-ASTRA, recordó.
