حذرت الشرطة النيبالية الجمعة من خطر حدوث فيضان بعد معلومات عن انهيار بحيرة في التيبت من الجانب الآخر من الحدود مع الصين.
وتشكلت البحيرة نتيجة انهيار جليدي جارف تسبب في الفيضان المدمر الذي ضرب المنطقة قبل يومين موديا بقرابة 500 شخص. وقالت الشرطة في بيان "تلقينا بلاغاً عن انهيار بحيرة على الجانب التيبتي. نطلب من جميع فرق الأمن والإنقاذ والجمهور توخي الحذر والبحث عن مأوى على الفور، والإبلاغ عن أي حوادث".
