علقت الصين الجمعة عمليات الإنقاذ في مركز المنطقة المنكوبة جراء التدفقات الطينية في التيبت بسبب مخاطر حصول فيضان جديد، فيما لا يزال المئات مفقودين في المنطقة الحدودية.
وأفاد صحافي في تلفزيون "سي سي تي في" الرسمي في الموقع بأن "المياه بدأت تفيض" من بحيرة تشكلت جراء تراكم كميات هائلة من الحطام، وتسيل باتجاه مركز جيرونغ الحدودي في المنطقة الأكثر تضررا جراء الكارثة، مضيفا "صدرت بالتالي أوامر لجميع فرق الإغاثة بلزوم مواقعها وانتظار تعليمات جديدة".
