ارتفعت حصيلة الفيضانات المدمرة التي ضربت الأربعاء منطقة حدودية بين النيبال والصين إلى 359 قتيلا على الأقل، بحسب ما أعلنت الشرطة النيبالية الخميس.
وقالت الشرطة في بيان "حتى الساعة الخامسة بعد ظهر الخميس، لقي 359 شخصا حتفهم". وكانت وسائل الإعلام الصينية الرسمية أفادت في وقت سابق بمقتل ثلاثة أشخاص ووقوع "خسائر فادحة" جراء سيول وحلية في إقليم التيبت، ما يرفع إجمالي عدد القتلى إلى 362 على الأقل.
