أقر البرلمان التايواني الخميس ميزانية بقيمة 7,6 مليارات دولار لشراء طائرات مسيّرة محلية الصنع، في وقت تسعى فيه الجزيرة إلى تعزيز دفاعاتها تحسبا لأي هجوم صيني محتمل.
وأيد البرلمان مقترح الإنفاق المدعوم من أحزاب المعارضة، بعدما كان قد رفض في وقت سابق مقترحا تقدمت به الحكومة.
