دانت سوريا الثلاثاء "الدخول غير الشرعي" لوزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس إلى أراضيها، بعد زيارة نادرة أجراها لقواته المتمركزة في جنوب البلاد، مجددا تعهده إبقاءها في المنطقة طالما هناك "تهديدات" لأمن بلاده.
ونددت وزارة الخارجية السورية في بيان ب"الدخول غير الشرعي" لكاتس "وتخطيه الحدود الدولية للجمهورية العربية السورية، في انتهاك سافر لسيادة البلاد ووحدة أراضيها". ودعت المجتمع الدولي لاتخاذ "الإجراءات اللازمة لإجبار سلطات الاحتلال على وقف الانتهاكات المتكررة".
