قال وزير الخزانة الأميركي سكوت بيسنت الاثنين إن واشنطن ستستبعد من نظام الدولار كل من يشارك في غسل الأموال الإيرانية، وذلك في خضم سعي الولايات المتحدة لزيادة الضغوط على طهران بعد نحو ستة أشهر من الحرب.
وقال بيسنت في مؤتمر صحافي "أي جهة تسهّل عمليات غسل الأموال لحساب إيران سيتم استبعادها من نظام الدولار الأميركي. لقد بدأ العدّ التنازلي للتو".
