قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الاثنين إنه سيرفع الرسوم الجمركية على مجموعة من المنتجات الكندية في قطاع السيارات بدءا من عام 2027، في ظل انزلاق البلدين نحو حرب تجارية متصاعدة.
وكتب على منصته الاجتماعية تروث سوشال "في الأول من كانون الثاني/يناير 2027، ستُرفع الرسوم الجمركية على جميع السيارات والشاحنات، سواء الكبيرة أو الصغيرة، وقطع غيار السيارات والصلب إلى 50%".
