التقى وزير الخارجية السوري رئيس جهاز الموساد الاسرائيلي الاحد في الأردن، وفق ما افاد مصدران وكالة فرانس برس، وذلك بعد بضعة أيام من ضربة إسرائيلية استهدفت قاعدة جوية في شمال غرب سوريا.
وقال مصدر دبلوماسي وآخر في الحكومة السورية، طالبين عدم كشف هويتيهما، إن "وزير الخارجية أسعد الشيباني ورئيس الموساد رومان غوفمان ناقشا قضايا من بينها إنشاء +غرفة عمليات خاصة+ في الأردن بإشراف أميركي، لمنع أي مواجهة بين سوريا وإسرائيل أو بين إسرائيل وتركيا داخل الأراضي السورية".
