Un séisme de magnitude 6,7 a frappé jeudi le sud du Pérou, a indiqué l'Institut d'études géologiques des Etats-Unis (USGS).
Les autorités n'ont pas fait état de victimes ni de dégâts matériels dans un premier temps.
L'épicentre du séisme, à environ 66 kilomètres de profondeur, se trouve dans la province de Parinacochas, dans le département d'Ayacucho, à environ 800 kilomètres au sud de la capitale Lima. L'Institut géophysique du Pérou a, lui, estimé la magnitude à 7,2.
