انتقد مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان فولكر تورك الأربعاء قرار واشنطن فرض عقوبات جديدة على مسؤولين في المحكمة الجنائية الدولية، معتبرا أنه "غير مقبول"، وداعيا الدول إلى حماية مسؤولي المحكمة من "إجراءات انتقامية" مماثلة.
وقال تورك في تدوينة على منصة إكس إنه "يجب رفع العقوبات الجديدة غير المقبولة التي فرضتها الولايات المتحدة على رئيسة المحكمة الجنائية الدولية وأحد أعضاء فريق الادعاء".
