تجاوز عدد مستخدمي "جيميناي" المليار مستخدم شهريا وفق ما أعلن سوندار بيتشاي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة غوغل، بعد أسبوع من إعادة هيكلة شاملة لقسم الذكاء الاصطناعي في مجموعة التكنولوجيا العملاقة.
وكتب بيتشاي على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي "إنه أسرع منتجاتنا نموا على الإطلاق" والمنتج الرابع عشر الذي يصل إلى مليار مستخدم.
وتمنح هذه العتبة التي حسبتها غوغل استنادا إلى عدد مستخدمي تطبيق "جيميناي" عبر منظومتها، محرك البحث العملاق انتصارا في خضم عملية إعادة هيكلة شاملة لقسم الذكاء الاصطناعي التابع له.
ولم يطرح بعد طرازه الرائد الجديد "Gemini 3.5 Pro" الذي كان من المقرر إطلاقه مبدئيا في حزيران/يونيو، فيما أطلق منافسوه نماذج تعد أكثر قوة، لا سيما في مجال توليد الكود البرمجي، وهو المجال الأكثر ربحية في هذا القطاع حاليا.
