Schnapp, da war er weg! Auf der LIV-Tour ist es für Golfer Charl Schwartzel zu einem Kuriosum gekommen. Bei einem Schlag des Südafrikaners auf Donald Trumps Golfplatz in Bedminster rollte der Ball vom Grün ins Uferbett eines Sees - und wurde zur Beute: Ein Fisch verwechselte ihn mit Futter, tauchte auf und schnappte gierig nach dem Ball.
Weil Schwartzel den Ball, unabhängig vom Fisch, nicht mehr weiterspielen konnte, erhielt er einen Strafschlag. Das siebte Loch beendete er mit einem Bogey - und einem Erlebnis, das er wohl nie vergessen wird.
Zusammenstöße mit Tieren kommen auf den Golfplätzen gelegentlich vor. Etwa in Florida, wo sich bereits Alligatoren auf dem Grün sonnten. Der wohl berühmteste Fall ereignete sich aber 1998 bei der Players Championship. Am 17. Loch schnappte sich eine Möwe den Ball des US-Amerikaners Steve Lowery - und ließ ihn ins Wasser fallen.
