أكد المتمردون الحوثيون المدعومون من إيران الأحد شن هجوم بصواريخ بالستية ومسيّرات على مدينة المخا اليمنية الواقعة على البحر الأحمر، بعد أن أفاد سكان محليون بسماع دوي انفجارات.
وقال المتحدث باسم الجماعة يحيى سريع في بيان إن قواتهم نفذت "عملية عسكرية واسعة ونوعية استهدفت تحشيدات العدو السعودي ومخازن أسلحته في منطقة المخا... بعدد كبير من الصواريخ البالستية والطائرات المسيّرة"، مضيفا أن الهجوم أسفر عن "مصرع وإصابة العشرات بينهم سعوديون".
