Borussia Mönchengladbach bleibt in der Saison-Vorbereitung das Verletzungspech treu. Nächster Ausfall ist WM-Teilnehmer Jens Castrop, der sich am Mittwoch im Test gegen den FC Rottach-Egern (15:0) an der Schulter verletzt hat. Der Mittelfeldspieler, der bei der WM für Südkorea im Einsatz gewesen war, werde "vorerst fehlen", teilte der Klub mit.
"Jens reist heute zurück nach Mönchengladbach. Wir tun alles, damit er möglichst schnell wieder gesund ist und auf dem Platz steht", sagte Sportchef Rouven Schröder. Zuvor hatten sich bereits die Verteidiger Fabio Chiarodia (Muskelfaserriss im linken Oberschenkel) und Juchym Konoplija (Innenbandanriss im rechten Knie) verletzt.
