Die Synchronschwimmer Solene Guisard und Robin Wiehn haben bei der EM in Paris das Podest in der Technischen Kür erwartungsgemäß verpasst. Das Duett kam im Finale des Mixed-Wettbewerbs am Sonntag in Paris mit 151,2650 Punkten auf Rang sieben.
Gold ging an Isabelle Thorpe und Ranjuo Tomblin aus Großbritannien (229,6783). Silber holten Filippo Pelati und Lucrezia Ruggiero aus Italien (229,0092) vor den Neutralen Athleten aus Russland Alina Rumianzewa und Zachar Trofimow (215,9201).
Die deutschen Synchronschwimmer warten bei den europäischen Titelkämpfen in Paris noch auf eine Medaille. Die größten Hoffnungen ruhen dabei auf Klara Bleyer (Bochum), die am Montag (9.00 Uhr) als Titelverteidigerin in der Freien Kür antritt und einen Tag später auch in der Technischen Kür an den Start geht.
