أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الثلاثاء فرض رسوم جمركية باهظة على الأدوية الجنيسة المستوردة اعتبارا من آب/أغسطس 2028، في خطوة قال إنها تهدف إلى تشجيع إنتاجها محليا.
وقال ترامب على منصته تروث سوشال "اعتبارا من 1 آب/أغسطس 2026، ستبقى كل الأدوية الجنيسة التي تستورد إلى الولايات المتحدة معفاة من التعرفة الجمركية لمدة عامين، ليتم رفع هذه التعرفة بعدها إلى 100% لمدة عام واحد، ثم إلى 200% بعد ذلك".
وأوضح الرئيس الجمهوري في منشوره أن "هذا الإجراء يهدف إلى تشجيع إنتاج الأدوية الجنيسة في الولايات المتحدة، مع معاقبة الشركات التي ترفض إنشاء مصانع ومنشآت خلال المهلة المحددة" مؤكدا أن الإجراءات السارية حاليا المتعلقة ببقية الأدوية ستبقى "دون تعديل".
