أعلنت الكويت الثلاثاء أنها تتصدي لصواريخ وطائرات مسيّرة أطلقتها إيران، في وقت فّعلت البحرين صافرات الإنذار لتحذير السكان من اعتداءات محتملة، بينما سمع مراسلو فرانس برس في عاصمتي البلدين دوي انفجارات.
وقالت وزارة الدفاع الكويتية في بيان "تتصدي حاليا الدفاعات الجوية الكويتية لهجمات صاروخية وطائرات مسيّرة معادية، إثر العدوان الإيراني الآثم". بدورها، أعلنت وزارة الداخلية في البحرين عبر منصة إكس "إطلاق صافرة الإنذار"، داعية السكان الى "الهدوء والتوجه لأقرب مكان آمن".
