قال الجيش الأردني في بيان الثلاثاء إنه اعترض خمس طائرات مسيرة مصدرها إيران كانت تستهدف المملكة، من دون وقوع اصابات أو أضرار مادية.
ونقل البيان عن مصدر عسكري قوله إن قوات الجيش "تعاملت، ليلة أمس وصباح اليوم (الثلاثاء)، مع خمس طائرات مسيّرة انطلقت من إيران. تم تحييدها بكفاءة ودقة"، مؤكدا عدم وقوع "أية إصابات بشرية أو أضرار مادية".
ويأتي هذا البيان بعد اعلان الحرس الثوري الإيراني في بيان شن هجوم "على مجمع تمركز قوات الجيش الأميركي الإرهابي والقاتل للأطفال في منطقة الركبان (شمال) بالأردن، ما أدى إلى مقتل عدد منهم".
