أعلن الجيش الإيراني الثلاثاء، أنه استهدف بالصواريخ قاعدة أميركية في الكويت، في الوقت الذي صرح فيه الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بيزشكيان أن بلاده منخرطة في "حرب شاملة" مع الولايات المتحدة.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية الرسمية (إرنا) عن مسؤولي العلاقات العامة في الجيش الإيراني أن "القوات البرية في الجيش استهدفت بصواريخ أرض أرض أنظمة صواريخ هيمارس تابعة للجيش الأميركي الإرهابي ومتمركزة في قاعدة عريفجان بالكويت".
