أعلن الجيش الإسرائيلي الاثنين أنه سيجري تعديلات على مواقعه "في إحدى المناطق التجريبية في جنوب لبنان، وذلك لتمكين الجيش اللبناني من أداء مهمته"، وفق ما أفاد مصدر عسكري إسرائيلي.
وقال المصدر العسكري الإسرائيلي إن التعديلات ستُجرى "مع الحفاظ في الوقت نفسه على أمن جنود الجيش الإسرائيلي وصون حقه في الدفاع عن النفس وإزالة التهديدات".
وأعلنت الولايات المتحدة الاثنين أن لبنان وإسرائيل سيباشران تطبيق المناطق التجريبية، فيما أعلن الجيش اللبناني انه ينتظر انسحاب اسرائيل من أطراف بلدة زوطر الشرقية للانتشار فيها بموجب اتفاق الإطار المبرم بين البلدين في حزيران/يونيو.
