أعلنت القيادة المركزية الأميركية (سنتكوم) الاثنين شن جولة جديدة من الضربات الأميركية على إيران.
وقالت سنتكوم إن الضربات التي بدأت في الساعة الرابعة عصرا (20,00 ت غ) "ترمي إلى مواصلة إضعاف القدرات العسكرية الإيرانية المستخدمة في مهاجمة السفن التجارية في مضيق هرمز".
