أفادت وكالة بحرية بريطانية الاثنين بأن سفينة أُصيبت قبالة سواحل الإمارات، في خضم استمرار تبادل النيران بين إيران والولايات المتحدة على خلفية السيطرة على مضيق هرمز.
وقالت هيئة عمليات التجارة البحرية البريطانية "يو كيه إم تي أو" في بيان إن "سفينة أبلغت عن إصابتها بمقذوف مجهول، ما ألحق أضرارا بنظام التوجيه"، مضيفة أن "جميع أفراد الطاقم بخير" وأن الحادث "لم يخلّف أي أثر بيئي".
وأوضحت أن الحادث وقع على بُعد 17 ميلا بحريا شرق دبا في خليج عُمان، قرب المضيق الاستراتيجي.
