تعهد آندي بورنم الاثنين تقديم خطة عشرية لبريطانيا مع توليه رئاسة الحكومة خلفا لكير ستارمر، مشددا على وجوب استعادة الاستقرار السياسي.
وقال بورنم في خطابه الأول بعدما كلّفه الملك تشارلز الثالث تأليف الحكومة الجديدة "على بريطانيا أن تظهر للعالم أننا قادرون على استعادة استقرارنا مجددا"، متعهدا "أن أصدر توجيهي الأول بإنهاء ظاهرة النوم في العراء في بلادنا".
