La Corée du Sud a émis pour la première fois dimanche une alerte météorologique maximale, un nouveau palier créé cette année en prévision d'événements extrêmes liés au changement climatique, en raison d'une vague de très fortes chaleurs dans le sud-est.
"L'Agence météorologique coréenne a émis aujourd'hui à 10H00 (01h00 GMT) une alerte extrême pour fortes chaleurs dans deux villes du sud de la province du Gyeongsang du Nord: Gyeongsan et Pohang", a déclaré la directrice de l'agence, Lee Mi-seon, lors d'une conférence de presse.
