Easyjet annonce un "accord de principe" avec un second acquéreur potentiel, le fonds Apollo
La compagnie aérienne britannique EasyJet a annoncé vendredi un "accord de principe" pour une potentielle acquisition par le fonds américain Apollo, valorisant l'entreprise à 5,7 milliards de livres, à de meilleures conditions que celles proposées par la société d'investissement Castlelake, également candidate au rachat.
Cette nouvelle offre à 7,15 livres par action "offre un résultat supérieur aux actionnaires d'EasyJet en leur procurant une valeur en numéraire plus élevée que la dernière proposition de Castlelake de 6,90 livres par action", souligne Easyjet, qui dit ne plus être "disposé à recommander" la première proposition.
