Inmitten des Wirbels um Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) will der Halbleiterkonzern SK Hynix am Freitag in New York an die Börse gehen. Das südkoreanische Unternehmen hat den Ausgabepreis an der Nasdaq bei 149 Dollar pro Aktie (gut 130 Euro) festgesetzt. SK Hynix hofft auf einen Erlös von rund 28 Milliarden Dollar.
Die Chips von SK Hynix werden weltweit in Hochleistungs-Rechenzentren für KI genutzt. Der Konzern wird bereits an der Börse in Seoul gehandelt, sein Wert wird auf rund eine Billion Dollar geschätzt. SK Hynix ist in Südkorea damit die Nummer zwei nach Samsung. In den USA hat das Unternehmen ebenfalls Investitionen in Milliardenhöhe angekündigt.
