Le Premier ministre israélien, Benjamin Netanyahu, a affirmé dimanche à la chaîne américaine Fox News que certains villages chrétiens du sud du Liban avaient "demandé à être annexés" à Israël, en quête, selon lui, de protection contre le Hezbollah pro-iranien.
Parmi les "villages chrétiens au Liban, certains ont même demandé à être annexés à Israël, parce que nous les protégeons contre les fanatiques du Hezbollah qui veulent les tuer. Et nous faisons la même chose avec les chrétiens partout", a déclaré dans l'émission "The Sunday Briefing" M. Netanyahu, dont le pays occupe une partie du sud du Liban près de la frontière.
