China's Xi mourns 'heavy human losses' in factory fire
China's President Xi Jinping said a fire on Thursday at a shoe factory in eastern Fujian province resulted in "heavy human losses", according to remarks carried by state media.
"No effort must be spared in search and rescue operations and in supporting the families" of those affected, Xi said, according to official news agency Xinhua, adding that the cause of the blaze must be "rapidly" determined to ensure accountability.
