Zum Start der Nations League am 24. September in Amsterdam gegen die Niederlande läuft der viermalige Weltmeister in den grünen Jerseys von adidas auf. Das teilte der Deutsche Fußball-Bund (DFB) am Donnerstag mit.
In den Trikots wurde Deutschland 1990 in Italien Weltmeister, das grüne Auswärtsdress wurde beim Halbfinalsieg im Elfmeterschießen gegen England getragen. Vor Beginn der WM in diesem Jahr in den USA, Mexiko und Kanada hatte adidas eine Bringback-Kollektion herausgebracht, die insgesamt fünf von ikonischen DFB-Trikots inspirierte Neuauflagen umfasste. Ab 2027 kleidet der US-Sportartikel-Riese Nike die DFB-Auswahl ein.
