AFP to showcase its finest Africa pictures at NexTV CEO Africa

AFP will showcase some of its finest pictures on Africa to the media leaders of the continent invited to the third edition of NexTV CEO Africa, an influential annual event for the TV, media and entertainment industry in Africa organized by DATAXIS.

Three slideshows will offer AFP photographers’ take on African women’s achievements, African sportsmen in action and African landscapes, during the three-day conference starting Wednesday May 2nd in Mauritius.

The 2018 NexTV CEO Africa will feature panel discussions, one-to-one sessions, and keynote addresses on topics such as the power of African women in the media, the state of African public broadcasters, the rise of international TV channels, the surge of social media influencers in the African TV landscape (full program on http://nextvceoafrica.com/)

AFP is filing 60 pictures, 60 text stories and 10 videos a day on average about Africa, thanks to a network of 250 reporters and 15 permanent bureaus on the continent.
