AFP sends a multimedia team of 14 journalists to cover AFCON 2022

Staying loyal to its life-long interest in the Africa Cup of Nations, AFP will send a multimedia team of 14 people to provide a detailed account of the pan-African tournament which will start this Sunday in Cameroon.

Six videojournalists, five photographers and three text journalists (French and English speaking) will follow the tournament in the six involved stadiums. Each game will be covered in text and pictures, and also in video from the last sixteen (trainings coverage, press conferences and mixed zone statements). AFP will also report extensively on the AFCON side events in Cameroon and on the games reactions across the continent.

AFP has already broadcast several exclusive interviews of some of the most awaited participants of the tournament, such as Senegalese players Idrissa Gueye and Abdou Diallo, Tunisian player Wahbi Khazri and Algerian player Sofiane Feghouli.
