Emmanuel Marcovitch appointed AFP’s Administrative and Financial Director

Emmanuel Marcovitch, Deputy Managing Director of AFP, has been appointed as the agency’s Administrative and Financial Director.


 

He retains his current functions, and replaces as Financial Director Antoine Ludier, who has left the agency.

Emmanuel Marcovitch, 40, has been Deputy Managing Director since September 2012.

He was previously auditor at the French Audit Office (Cour des Comptes, 2008-2012).
He led a research programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, 1996-1997) and then worked at Vivendi Universal (1998-2001) and the Interior Ministry (2001-2005).

He is a graduate of Paris-Dauphine University (1995), the Telecom Ecole de Management (1996) and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (2006-2008).

His appointment took effect on July 15 2014.
